TT # 23 - getting to know me

Thirteen Random Things about AMBER

1. My sister and I have the same birthday - 16 years apart.

2. I am a perfectionist - but you wouldn't be able to tell that from my house.

3. I am a world class procrastinator - this you would be able to tell from my house.

4. Driving is one of my least favorite things to do - always has been. I grew up driving on empty gravel roads...city driving terrifies me.

5. I am 26 years old and have never been outside of the U.S.

6. I love being a preschool teacher, but hate the preschool where I work - the administration sets us up to fail and then blames the teachers for the failures.

7. Taco Bell is my favorite fast-food restaurant.

8. I am left-handed.

9. I learned to read when I was four. My kindergarten teacher took advantage of that by letting me read to the class during story time so she could do other stuff.

10. My very first day of kindergarten PE, the coach told me "it's a good thing you're book-smart, because you'll never make it as an athlete!" 21 years later, I'm about 5 months away from a black belt in Shotokan karate.

11. Next weekend I'll be in a wedding in the China Exhibit of the Memphis Zoo - weird, huh?

12. If I had to pick one physical feature as my favorite, it would be my eyes.

13. It took me an hour to come up with 13 things about me...does that make me a boring person?

I took forever to come up with my list too, today. Usually it's easy.

Actually, I think the Memphis Zoo Panda area will make a beautiful place for a wedding. The theme and decor is already provided! However, it's going to be so cold this weekend!!! The groom will be the only warm one!
