Friday's Feast # 2

Appetizer: What are you proud of?

I'm proud of a lot of things: my marriage, my preschoolers (most days), my steady progress in karate, the rare occassion that I try a new recipe and it comes out edible.

Soup: What is the best thing you’ve ever won as a prize?

I don't win things. Seriously.

Salad: Name something you do that is a waste of time.

I'm a TV junkie. And TiVo has only made me worse, because now when there isn't anything on, I can always watch something we've TiVo'd.

Main Course: In what year of your life did you change the most?

it was actually a 2-year span from the 24th thru the 25th year of my life. I really grew up a lot in that time period. That's also the part of my life where I actually worked up the nerve to start karate, which is a pretty major deal considering my confidence issues.

Dessert: Where is a place you consider to be very tranquil?

Well, are we talking anyplace in the world or where I go for tranquility? I think the beach at sunrise would be pretty darn tranquil. But being in a land-locked state, I don't really get the chance to try that one on for size. When I need some peace and quiet, I take a bath. Light a few candles, turn off the lights, and just soak. Very calming.

I had to laugh at your tv-junkie. Ya, I guess it would make it worse, wouldn't it. LOL And your tranquility is similar to mine.

Drop by and join me in my feast this fine Friday if you can.

I didn't even think of a bath as tranquil! That's a good answer though...wish I had thought of it. :)

Our DVD recorder broke, and the strange thing is, I was glad. I didn't want to have to watch all that TV!

Great feast!
