Appetizer:

Who is your favorite news anchor/reporter? Why?

As a general rule, I don't watch much news. It's too depressing. Maybe that's selfish of me, but I'd rather be ignorant of what's going on in the world than depressed about it. The exceptions to this rule are the 2 "news" programs that I have TiVo set to record every day: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. Do those actually count as news? Do Jon and Stephen count as "news anchors"? At least this way I have some idea of what's going on in the world, and I get a laugh out of the deal as well. Probably not the most informed choice of news programming, but it works for me.

Soup:

Name 3 foods that are currently in your freezer.

Well, there's a bag of chicken tenderloins, some mini ears of corn, and a boatload of Omaha Steak meat that we need to break out the grill for now that the weather is all awesome and stuff.

Salad:

If you were to have the opportunity to name a new town or city, what would you call it?

OOOh, this is a good question. It would depend on where the new town or city was, what kind of things were in the area, and a host of other variables. I'd definitely want to make sure it sounded right when paired with the name of the state it was in (or country, if it can be anywhere in the world). How about I just list a few names of actual towns to give you an idea of what direction I would probably go with such an opportunity?

Main Course:

What will most likely be the next book you read?

Well, I just finished The DaVinci Code, which was excellent, by the way. Someone at work brought me a stack of books because I'm always sitting in the hallway on my lunch break with my nose in a book. I don't remember what any of them are called, but I'm sure I'll start one of them at lunch today. We also just acquired Eldest, the sequel to Eragon, but I may have to re-read Eragon before delving into that one. Don't want to be completely lost.

Dessert:

What's the first thing you notice about the opposite gender?

From a distance, general build - tall/short, thin/chubby/brick wall. Up close, the eyes.
