Friday's Feast #4

Appetizer: When you were a child, which crayon color was your favorite?

I don't remember having a fixation over one crayon. Mom? Did I ever go through a phase of only using one particular crayon? Some of the kids in my class insist on using each crayon equally - they color everything in rainbows.

Soup: On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest), how likely would you be to change jobs if it required you to move?

Well, I'd be more likely to look for a new job after relocating for a job for Hubby than to take a job myself that would mean relocation, but that's just because he's got the more lucrative job field.

Salad: Take all the numbers in your birthday and your phone number and add them up, one by one. What’s the total?

84 - I assumed birth year and area code were included.

Main Course: Have you ever “re-gifted” anything? If so, what was it and who did you pass it on to?

When Hubby worked at Pizza Hut, he ended up with a coffee maker from the Christmas party that we didn't need. We "re-gifted" it to a couple from school as a wedding present. Don't judge me - we were buying groceries with one-dollar bills from his tips. Those crazy kids were lucky to get anything from us!

Dessert: Name something you need from the store.

Kitty litter. We always need kitty litter.

I'm chuckling--I'd never thought of obsessing over one particular crayon. Maybe the sky blue one. Or the gold and silver.

I never got the white crayon though. What was the point of it?

I never got the white crayon either... until my mother and I were dying easter eggs. You can color the egg before you dip it, and it has a white spot with your picture or saying. If you color after you dip and it has dried, you can dip it again, and the colored part retains the previous color.

Then for halloween you can draw white ghosts on black paper.

Actually, the white crayon is the crayon I assoicate most with doing "special things" It has a very specific purpose.
