insert clever title here

In an effort to fend off this blogger's block that's had be down lately, I went on a search for some writing prompts and found Create a Connection - a different theme for every day of the week. Wednesday is Getting to Know You Day. So here are today's questions:

1. If you could have any magical power for only one hour, what would it be and why?

Only one hour? Well, the obvious answer for that would be the ability to bend the space-time continuum at will, Hiro-style! But maybe that would be considered cheating?

2. You've won a pair of round-trip airline tickets to anywhere in the world. Where would you go, with whom, and why?

Let me answer the easy part of that question first - I'd take my Hubby with me, of course! As for where we would go, there are so many places I would love to see! Japan - for the martial arts history, Greece - for the Biblical and mythological histories, Austria - for the musical history, Scotland, Paris, London, Italy - just to say I've been.

3. You are stranded in a library or bookstore for 24 hours. In what section do you spend the most time? Why?

Knowing myself as well as I do, I have to admit that if I were stranded in a library or bookstore, I would end up spending the vast majority of my time in the children's section. I am a preschool teacher, after all.

4. If you were to be on a reality TV show, which one would it be? Why would you be a good fit for that particular show?

I'd like to be one of the strangers on Identity - does that count as a "reality" show? In about 6 months when I (hopefully) have a black belt in Shotokan karate, I think that would be a good identity that would stump someone - I don't think I look like the "black belt type."

I don't know, though. Identity is really more of a game show than a reality show. I'm not talented enough to be on American Idol (although that hasn't stopped some contestants now, has it?) or creative enough for Project Runway. And I really can't think of any other reality shows.

5. What did you most recently dream or daydream about?

I don't daydream so much as zone out these days. Or maybe I'm just daydreaming about sleeping. Wow. That's actually depressing.

As for dream dreams, I generally don't remember them unless they are unbelievably random and disjointed or horrifically frightening. Thankfully, I can't remember the last time I had a memorable dream.
