Friday's Feast - May 18

Appetizer: List 3 emotions you experienced this week.

Nervousness - going back to work after vacation, knowing that several people had quit while I was gone

Sadness - my babies are all graduating preschool this Sunday and leaving me for kindergarten

Pride - see "sadness"

Soup: Name a car you’d love to have.

We bought our Deepwater Blue 2006 Hyundai Sonata last summer and have been thrilled with it ever since. I love our car so much that I'd honestly be content with a second just like it. Well, maybe I'd go with the Black Cherry color next time.

Salad: Describe your typical morning routine.

Hit the snooze from 5am to 6am.
Go to the bathroom.
Throw clothes for me and Hubby in the dryer - that's how I iron.
Check email, read blogs, etc., usually while eating cereal, oatmeal, or toast.
Shower.
Wake Hubby.
Dress.
Rush out the door for work.

Main Course: Have you ever emailed someone famous? If so, who, and what did you say to them? Did they reply?

Email? No. When I was in 8th (?) grade I wrote a letter to President Clinton telling him I didn't think we needed to be involved in Bosnia when we had so many problems in our own country that we could be fixing. I got a form letter reply. One of those "thank you for your interest in world affairs blah blah blah" letters.

Dessert: Do you listen to podcasts? If so, which ones?

Nope.

Hi! Here from FF. Sadness? Ever considered homeschooling? It is very fulfilling and some would say, more productive. :)
I iron that way too! HA!
Went to Destin about 4 years ago with my folks and my children... loved every minute of it. The cond was very nice and I'm sure a lot of money was saved.
Have a great weekend!

Her "babies" are her preschool class - she's the teacher. We don't have kids yet, as with an infant in the house I'd still be the least mature person in the room. :(

Yeah, my babies aren't actually my babies - they are my students. Hubby speaks much truth about why we have not yet embarked on the parenting journey. And I have thought about homeschooling, but I know myself well enough to know that my kids wouldn't ever learn anything because I would declare every day a snow day and send them back to bed.
