Friday's Feast - May 4th

Appetizer: Name something you would not want to own.

A gun. I don't have anything against them, I just don't think I want one in my home.

* * *

Soup: Describe your hair (texture, color, length, etc.).
My hair is brown, with natural blonde and red "accents." It has been called "good hair" by several friends (until they try to fix it, and then they call it "soft," "difficult," $%@$, and a host of other words). It is currently about halfway down my back - the longest I've ever had it. And, while I love being able to wear it several different ways, I'm seriously considering going boy-short with it again. Haven't done that since high school.

* * *

Salad: Finish this sentence: I’ll never forget ___________.

I'll never forget the time I said that snails have 4 legs. Yes, I really did say that. No, I was not a child. I was a married woman having an "intellectual" discussion with my husband. We were watching some program on Animal Planet, and I commented on the speed with which the cheetah (or whatever large cat it was) was running. Hubby responded with, "well, it does have 4 legs, after all." And I wanted to prove a point. But before my brain could come up with "turtle," "sloth," or other 4-legged slowpoke, I blurted out, "Snails have 4 legs, too!" I'm brilliant, I tell you.

* * *
Main Course: Which famous person would you like to be for one day? Why?
Honestly? I really wouldn't. I have absolutely no desire for fame and all the troubles that come along with it. Now, if I could have access to a famous person's bank account without having to deal with all that person's problems, then I'd start thinking

* * *

Dessert: Write one sentence about yourself that includes one thing that is true and another thing that is not.

I love working with 4 and 5 year olds, and I am not looking forward to our vacation in the slightest.
